Your production coordinator
in Andorra
Andorra is a ski lover’s paradise. It has miles and miles of ski slopes (180 to be exact) and our production coordinator in Andorra knows every single nook and cranny. Moreover it is known for its vast natural park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which takes up 9% of the country. It has the highest capital in Europe and the most tourists per capita in the world. Should you want to interview or film some, our journalist fixer can help you arrange a story.

Andorra la Vella
Here, you can marvel for free at a peculiar monument by Salvador Dalí. La Noblesse du Temps displays a melting clock representing the passage of time. Nearby, there is Puente de Paris – a bridge with the letters Andorra La Vella on its side. For Romanesque art, our location scout recommends the church of Santa Coloma and the Margineda bridge. So in the filming downtime, our production coordinator in Andorra will definitely show you around the popular Meritxell shopping area.
Canillo
Not for the faint of heart, Via Ferrata Roc del Quer is a viewpoint of Canillo. It is a bridge that is seemingly hanging in the air. Besides, if you dare walk all the way, the view of the valley and opposing mountains is impressive. Our production coordinator in Andorra recommends the hike up a mountain to Pic de Casamanya. The peak which is right in the center of Andorra offers great views and you can even spot vultures.

Escaldes-Engordany
Our journalist fixer will walk all 9 hiking trails of Escaldes-Engordany to arrange your local interviews. They swear by Circuito De Les Fonts for nature lovers, where you can drink directly from springs. We also recommend the La Nou lake trail, for the most beautiful lake in Andorra’s mountains and the fresh air. Karting Grandvalira only opens from July to September and has tracks with great designs. To showcase artists in Andorra, film at ARTALROC Sala de Exposiciones del Gobierno, a free local exhibition room.
La Massana
In La Massana, we found Casa Raubert – a cheese factory located on a farm. You can taste cheeses and wine, see where they keep the animals and speak to the owner about the manufacturing process. They also grow tobacco and are eager to speak about that. Our location scout will tell you that Andorra earns the most from tourism, particularly in the winter sports industry, but it was not always like this. Before ski resorts became popular, it was tobacco that drove the country’s economy.

Ordino
We recommend driving from the before-mentioned Canillo to Ordino. If you are looking to shoot a classic drive in an open-topped sports car on a beautiful day, look no further than Coll d’Ordino. The road will take you wiggly waggly through the mountains. Besides the views are too beautiful to be missed and high on our list of recommended places that we discovered through location scouting. It is the favorite shooting place for our production coordinator in Andorra due to the little traffic and plenty of picnic spots.
Hiring a location scout in Andorra
Art, breathtaking views of valleys and mountains, cheese and tobacco – Andorra has a lot to offer for the documentary filmmaker or the (luxury car) commercial producer. What is more, if the above locations do not quite fit the bill for your media production, we can recommend tailored locations based on your needs. Once you get in touch with us, we will introduce you to our production coordinator in Andorra.
They can tell you about hidden gems of locations we uncovered for our customers previously. Once you share your vision with them, they will reach out to our location scout. Also, our fixer will direct them on what to look for and what conditions they should photograph the place under. They will offer comprehensive notes by filling in a template, to make sure you have sufficient information about all the choices in front of you. You will have plenty of options to choose from in Andorra, despite its size.
